**The Opportunity**

We are seeking an experience Quality Manager to work within our MSP Aerospace team on a 6-month fixed term contract out of RAAF Base Amberley, Brisbane.

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet consistent standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages, and documenting production issues to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and Implement Quality Control Processes: Create and oversee methods to inspect, test, and evaluate products and production equipment.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure products adhere to a ISO9001:2015 quality management standard.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Prepare reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing data on production issues.
- Training and Supervision: Train and manage production line staff in quality assessment and production practices.
- Product Tracking: Monitor products through the manufacturing process to guarantee each part of the process is correct.
- Final Inspections: Perform detailed inspections of final products to ensure they meet industry and company standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.

**Essential**:

- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.

**Security**
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Hold an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence security clearance or higher
