At Dream Family Day Care we take our job with full pride and joy our workspace is very family-like and work as a group and help each other.

We are looking for a trustworthy hard working Educational Leader / Coordinator for our office at Dream Family Day Care this job requires you to visit educator homes once every month. and to stay up to date with paperwok for all educators.

This job requires you to work in office 3 days from 9am - 5pm.
- Support educators in effective planning of activities to best develop programs
- Organise an effective educational program for the scheme.
- Ensure Educators and scheme; follow the Early Years Learning Framework in all educational programs.
- Guiding and developing educators and families’ understandings about play and leisure-based learning, and the significance of the early years in the education continuum for children
- Developing the skills and knowledge of Dream Family Day Care educators

Facilitating the collaborative work of educators, Coordinators and Educational leader to further develop and make practice the educational principles.
- **Yourself as Educational leader**:_
- To attend Training/ Professional Development sessions for and on behalf of Dream FDC so that high quality service delivery can be maintained.
- To use critical reflection as a tool for driving quality and best practice.
- To ensure a practical and thorough knowledge of the National Quality Framework.

- Act in a professional and ethical manner at all times
- Adhere to the current regulations and Australian government requirements, scheme policies and procedures, and any other relevant legislative requirements.
- Undertake self-guided assessment toward high quality care

**ACCOUNTABILITY & AUTHORITY**
- Educational Leaders are accountable to the Nominated Supervisor, Manager and Director. If you have any concerns or disagreements, the Educational Leader should follow the complaints procedure in the policy and procedure manual for Dream Family Day Care.

**JUDGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING**
- Is exercised within the National Quality Framework and Policies and Procedures of Dream Family Day Care.
- Educational Leaders are required to solve a range of problems requiring them to draw upon experience, professional knowledge, and procedural guidelines.
- All other enquiries (not related to the role of Educational Leader) should be referred to the Director.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**

**Qualifications and Experience**

**Essential**
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood.
- First Aid management (refresher as relevant)
- CPR training (refresher as relevant)
- Anaphylaxis management training (refresher as relevant)
- Asthma management training (refresher as relevant)
- Working With Children Check
- Police check
- Child Protection Training - CHCPRT001
- Passing a medical test
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Family Day Care experience

**Preferable**
- Educational Leader experience
- Own Car

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Subcontract
Part-time hours: 27 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $46.50 per hour
