We have an immediate position available for an experienced “Oil & Gas; Maintenance; Construction”
**Quality Officer **to join our team based at “location”.

Establish an agreed interpretation of Project requirements as defined in specifications, codes and standards. Monitor and report on the Project Team’s compliance with the Project Quality Plan, nominated specifications and field quality control procedures. Coordinate and carry out inspections as required by Inspection and Test Plans. Provide technical (quality) support to the manufacturing and construction teams.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Review assigned technical documentation and ensure correct specifications and drawings etc are included/ referred to in Work Packs and Requisitions.
- Develop and/or facilitate the development of inspection and associated check/inspection records.
- Determine measurement capability appropriate to the activities and ensure that calibrated measuring devices are available.
- Verify suitability of qualifications/experience of personnel assigned (including subcontractors) to undertake inspection activities.
- Coordinate and/or undertake inspection activities and prepare inspection records as required by the ITPs.
- Monitor the completion of Quality Records associated with assigned Work Packs.
- Initiate and verify suitability of corrective or preventive action where required to eliminate existing or potential causes of non-conformance.
- Assist with the resolution and close out of technical non conformances.
- Review and compile inspection records for compliance with agreed requirements and for inclusion with the MDR.
- Prepare status reports covering assigned work areas in accordance with Project requirements.
- Assembles cost control and statistical data, as needed, in support of quality objectives.
- Experience within the heavy industry / construction environment
- Previous experience in a Welding Quality Control role.
- Appropriate trade and technical qualifications
- Minimum basic skills - Microsoft Office suite and QC database.
- AS9001 Knowledge
- Site experience (operations, construction and commissioning in mineral processing, oil and gas/ petrochemical or mining industry)
- Responsible HSSE Attitude
