We are on the hunt for a number of staff to join our growing Gardening team based in Sunshine North, but operating throughout greater Melbourne.

This Gardener role is a great opportunity to continue developing your career in gardening, landscaping and horticulture. This role will be helping the **Good Spaces**team to deliver ground maintenance services to a range of contracts and clients all around greater Melbourne. Each shift will start and finish at our depot in Sunshine North.

A day can include work but not limited to mowing, spraying, pruning, mulching and weeding, including litter clean-up. Training and support is provided to ensure safety is upheld at all times.

Work duration: Generally **6:30am-2:36pm, Mon-Fri,** 5 shifts available per week. If you love working outdoors, independently and in a team, and have a great attitude to your work, then please apply

Initially, this would be a casual role, however you could move to ongoing at a later time. Depending up on your level of experience, you would be paid at either Level 4 **($35.15)**or Level 5 **($36.25)**of the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award

Our mission is to empower young people facing barriers to work by offering employment pathways across micro mobility, landscape maintenance, retail, fleet maintenance, and more services for sustainable and inclusive communities. Work as part of a supportive team for multiple clients all across Melbourne.

Works include general gardening and grounds maintenance activities, such as mowing, pruning, etc. If you have qualifications or experience in gardening or landscaping, we can discuss a casual or full-time contract aligning with your abilities.

Pay: $35.15 - $36.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sunshine North VIC 3020: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- zero turn/front deck mowing: 1 year (preferred)
- team leading: 1 year (preferred)
- Gardening: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Certificate 3 in Gardening, Landscaping or Horticulture? (required)
- Full Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
