**Educational Designer - Part Time, Remote**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Educational Designer is responsible for the educational design of learning materials. This role requires close collaboration with academic and research faculty members, both internal and external, to ensure the strategic and discipline-specific priorities are met.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Liaison between the allocated Discipline and the OLT team - including priorities, key projects and requirements.
- Learning activity design
- Collaborating with academic Subject Matter Experts, academics and experts.
- Design, develop and produce storyboards, scripts and other educational artefacts and liaise with multimedia staff to realise learning outcomes.
- Manages and contributes to special projects in related areas.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Strong organisational abilities, coordination, and project management skills.
- Maintain an established work schedule.
- Research and analyse complex information.
- Ability to identify opportunities for interactive learning design, and harness digital media for teaching and learning.
- Minimum of two years’ educational design and development work experience, preferably in a tertiary institution.
- Thorough understanding of online teaching and learning principles in the digital age.
- Educational strategies, curriculum standards, and assessments.
- Processes and standards for planning and implementing educational design and development.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems, preferably including Moodle.
