**About the Opportunity**

Swanson Industries are seeking a high performing Machine Shop Coordinator to join our successful team located in Lambton.

In this role you will coordinate and optimise day-to-day operational activities for the Workshop team in order to meet customer requirements whilst also achieving safety, quality and commercial objectives.
- Responsibilities will include:_
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to confirm job requirements.
- Preparing and documenting bill of materials for specialist machining jobs.
- Helping to ensure the quality of work meets documented standards and customer requirements.
- Ensuring availability of Machine Shop equipment and tools.
- Managing suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of components.
- Monitoring and maintaining job data in the ERP system.
- Providing a safe and healthy working environment by compliance with the company’s WHS Management System.

**About You**
- Strong trade knowledge, time management and prioritising skills.
- Able to confidently interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Able to read and interpret parts and service manuals.
- Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
