Talent International is searching for experienced **Remediation Coordinator** to join our client, a large banking institution. This is a 4-month contract role, with the possibility to extend, based in **Newstead**.

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Review and analyse business banking portfolios specifically the bank guarantee product and associated deposit product or property security.
- Prepare credit submissions to business credit management where a restructure is required.
- Liaise with Branches to arrange closure of deposit accounts or the opening of new deposits.
- Liaise with Branches to co-ordinate the refinance of the bank guarantee product.
- Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders Group Product Remediation Team, and Business Product on status of reviews
- Ensure that credit policies, procedures and audit requirements are adhered to when conducting reviews

**Skills & Experience Required**:

- A business or finance degree is strongly desirable
- 5+ years' experience in banking and financial services
- Extensive lending based experience
- Audit/ Compliance/ Risk background strongly desirable
- Customer relationship management
- Background in Contact Centre Remediation/Customer Relations desirable
- High level attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to plan, organise and reach deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong time management, problem solving and communication skills
- Knowledge of the BCOP and Privacy Act. Ability to use initiative
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure visibility of progress
