**About the Role**

The primarily responsibilities of the Transport Officer are to provide logistics support to our branch network and maintain the integrity of TMHA’s inventory supply chain pipeline.

This includes loading and unloading of trucks/shipping containers of all TMHA equipment in accordance with TMHA’s Traffic Management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) procedures for logistics activities undertaken at our Unanderra branch.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Aid and instruct service providers in loading/unloading exclusion zones (LUEZ) (side loader container/semi-trailer truck movements
- Ensure Chain of Responsibility COR documentation is completed, finalised, and stored.
- Logistics administration including stock receipt, distribution of MHE including data entry.
- Report on any near miss, incident, or hazards within the branch on TMHA’s safety management system.
- Identify relevant SOP's/SWMS's/Risk Assessments/Work Instructions to maintain safe working practices and procedures.
- Participate in WHSE emergency response plans & evacuation procedures.

**Skills and experience**:

- Current Forklift licence (counterbalance up to fifteen tonne)
- Current Drivers licence
- Experience with heavy vehicle haulage including Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and load restraint.
- Container unloading/manual handling.
- Effective communication and people skills especially with external delivery drivers.
- Multitasking and able to navigate through conflicting priorities in diligent manner.
