**About the role**:
We have an opportunity for an SAP Functional Consultant to join the team and deliver SAP functional design that supports the business in achieving its strategic and operational goals. The role requires a solid understanding of both business processes and functional components of SAP, with the ability to translate between the two at all levels of stakeholders. The role will cover both Production Support & Project Enhancements across the SAP Financial system (can include S/4, Ariba or FS-CD) and a requires a strong understanding of functionality.

This is a** 6 month fixed term contract**, with the potential of going permanent for the right person.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to Medibank’s SAP Finance systems.
- Personally execute, or provide direction to support partners/vendors in, functional configuration of SAP solutions to support business requirements
- Lead & participate in requirements and design workshops.
- Participate in SAP Finance major project and smaller enhancement work.
- Own & manage strong relationships with senior business stakeholders, understanding their strategy, goals and key drivers and providing SAP Financial solutions that support those needs.
- Oversee project resources/external vendor resources delivering design artefacts to ensure that they meet Medibank requirements.
- QA functional designs and become a trusted stakeholder advisor on Solution Design.
- Undertake and/or direct required configuration tasks related to project work.
- Develop necessary documentation to assist the development resources.

**About you**
- Minimum 5 years experience in an SAP Functional Consultant role.
- Ideally experienced in S/4, Ariba or FS-CD modules.
- Experienced across the full lifecycle of a complex project.
- Demonstrated SAP functional experience both in production support and projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP Architecture.
- Experience managing the configuration and testing of SAP systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience on full end-to-end SAP implementations, preferably across industries.
- Any experience in private health insurance is highly regarded.
