**Cyber Security Officer APAC**

**The Opportunity**:
The Cyber Security Officer is the extension of the VP Global Cyber Security when it comes to the implementation of NewCold's cyber security strategy in the APAC region. The Cyber Security Officer will be focusing on making sure that our systems in both IT and OT environment are protected in the most effective and cost-efficient way and are compliant with NewCold policies and standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Be the expert on laws and regulations regarding Cyber Security in the APAC region
- Perform audit and security checks
- Be a trusted partner for the NewCold business stakeholders like Technology, Operations, Human Resources and Business Development
- Support cyber-security training and awareness within the region to increase staff security awareness
- Research Cyber Security enhancements and make recommendations to management
- Develop and maintain a network of Cyber Security communities both governmental and non-governmental
- Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
- Monitor and develop relevant threat intelligence feeds
- Monitor and ensure effectiveness of security policies
- Pro-actively support NewCold Business with IR planning and BCP framework implementation
- Participate in audit and project management activities as required
- Provide security and risk consultancy on a range of IT and business projects, ensuring they are delivered with Cyber Security by Design
- Develop and maintain a regional Cyber Security community with peers of our customers

**Knowledge, skills and abilities we're looking for**:

- A relevant Bachelor or Master degree is highly desirable
- 5-10 yrs relevant experience
- Profound knowledge of Cyber Security Market
- Excellent communication
- Excellent stakeholder management and social networking skills
- Be Tech and Business minded
- Excellent Innovative and problem solving skills
- Profound knowledge of local laws and legislations
- Profound knowledge of IT and OT security
- Strategic thinking, flexible
- Management skills and experience in the context of international teams
- Willingness to business travel (APAC)
- GSLC
- CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or willing to acquire these
- A drivers licence
