Bartender Castlereagh Hotel

The Castlereagh Boutique Hotel, located at 169-173 Castlereagh Street, Sydney CBD, is seeking dedicated, ultra-service-oriented professional bartenders to join our unique team. The Castlereagh Hotel is a stunning heritage building built in 1927, with 83 accommodation rooms, several dining facilities, bars, meeting and function rooms.

As a dedicated bartender at Castlereagh Hotel, you will have past experience in a similar role, preferably in a minimum 4-star hotel or club environment, and a high level of communication, presentation, grooming, and personality is a must. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in the Reagh Bar and for various functions, meetings, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment
- Interact with guests, answering questions and making recommendations
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Follow all health and safety regulations, as well as liquor licensing laws
- Upsell products and coffee-making skills are a must
- Engage with guests and ensure they have an exceptional experience every time they visit the hotel

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of mixology, including the ability to create classic and specialty cocktails
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, days, nights, and weekends
- Responsible service of alcohol certification
