**Role Description/Criteria**

**Expectations of your role**
- Provide strategic leadership and management to the Primary School
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality education programs including the Science of Learning
- Support the professional development of teaching staff
- Manage the day-to-day operations, including student enrolments, staffing, and facilities
- Promote a positive school culture and support the wellbeing of students, staff, and the broader school community
- Work closely with the Principal and other senior leadership to achieve the school's Improvement goals
- Represent the school in the local community and with external stakeholders

**What St Bede’s is looking for**
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role within a primary school.
- Understanding and working knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community
- Strong commitment to student wellbeing
- Willingness to be involved in the broader life of the school
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Tertiary qualifications in Education, and a commitment to ongoing professional development
