About the role:
We are currently recruiting Casual Support Workers experienced and qualified in Behaviours and Mental Health to join our team for an immediate start in:
- Cessnock, NSW
Duties involve:
- Assistance with household tasks which includes light house work
- Meal preparation
- Transporting clients to community access and appointments when needed
- Working with children and adults 1:1 and team dynamics
- Participation in the shift roster 7x24 as required.
Essential qualifications of the role:
- Certificate III or Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work or other relevant field
- Hold a current NSW Working with Children check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
- National Police check with a minimum of 6 months validity.
- Current Drivers licence with own transport and Comprehensive Insurance
- NDIS work screening check
- Demonstrated understanding of working with vulnerable people to live their best life
- Experience in working with people with Disabilities, Mental Health and Complex Behaviours
- Flexibility to work on weekdays and/or weekends.

Pay: $33.96 - $43.08 per hour
