**The Opportunity**

We are thrilled to announce that one of the best bakeries on the Peninsula has a rare vacancy to join the team.

An iconic destination for the locals and travellers alike. This premium brand generates considerable repeat business and has a cult like following. Serving up arguably the best sourdough, pastries and baked goods on this side of town their top selling products are now delivered daily and are available in local breweries, fine dining restaurants and local general stores.

Attention to detail, consistency and maintaining the highest standards of quality are essential in this role.

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

- Experience in producing handmade sourdough and yeast products from mixing all the way through to baking
- Available to work weekends and shifts from 10pm to 8am
- Understand and follow HACCP procedures.
- Work to produce high quality products and make on the spot decisions.
- Pastry experience is preferred but not essential.

**About You**

As the Baker, you will be passionate about pastry and breads and strive for high quality products consistently.

You will be responsible for managing your work orders and prep sheets. As a minimum, you should possess the following attributes: you will be looking for full time work, Unfortunately with recent situations we are not looking to sponsor anyone.
- Full time permanent position; shifts on a rotating roster
- Focus on quality control and operational efficiencies.
