Due to the constant expansion of our Defence division, Downer has an opportunity for a highly experienced **Water and Wastewater Plant Operator** to join our team located in **Canungra**. Your day to day activities are:

- Maintain and operate filtering and chemical treatment process
- Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps (boilers, heat exchangers Remove this) and valves
- Inspect and maintain the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
- Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
- Assist other trades onsite as required
- Perform Testing ,Maintain records and documentation in line with the site Water and Wastewater Management Plan
- Maintain Pool filtration and chemical dosing inline with QLD pool guidelines
- Provide assistance to other sites when required

**ABOUT YOU**
- Suitability for Defence Security Clearance (**Australian citizenship mandatory**)
- Current Driver’s licence
- Certificate III Water and Waste Treatment Plant Operator (mandatory)
- Qualified Plumber would highly regarded
- Have resilience, a 'can-do' attitude and be adaptable
