**About the Role**:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide essential support to a client with disabilities. In this role, you will assist with personal care tasks and community access and help the client fulfill independent activities. If you have experience in disability care, particularly personal care, and community access, and are passionate about making a positive difference, we would love to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Personal Care: Assist the client with daily personal care routines, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Community Access: Support the client in participating in community activities, outings, and appointments to enhance their social inclusion and independence.
- Daily Living Assistance: Help with meal preparation, housekeeping, and general support in managing everyday tasks.
- Health & Wellbeing: Monitor and support the client’s physical and emotional well-being, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Communication: Maintain clear and compassionate communication with the client, their family, and the broader support team.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience: Previous experience working as a Disability Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant, or in a similar role is highly desirable, especially with experience in personal care and community access.
- Qualifications: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of person-centered care practices and the ability to engage with individuals with a variety of disabilities.
- Personal Qualities: Empathetic, patient, and reliable, with a passion for helping others. Ability to foster independence while providing the right level of support.
- Car Required: Access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role, as you will be required to assist with transportation to community activities, appointments, and outings.

Pay: From $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 24 per week

- First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- CFA Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- Infection and Prevention Control Certificate (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
