**Administration Clerk**

**Southern Highlands Private Hospital** - **Permanent part-time basis**.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a cheerful and confident Administration Clerk to join our Administration Team on a Part-Time basis, providing a comprehensive customer focused service at Southern Highlands Private Hospital

You will be responsible for effectively performing the administrative duties including admissions and reception duties within a variety of different departments, providing leave coverage as required. You will provide a high level of customer service directly to our patients.

In this role you will report to the Administrative Services Manager and work closely with a supportive team.

**About You**

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong administrative skill set and be familiar with the health care industry. You will be a proactive professional with a high level of attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the work day. You will be a clear and effective communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, who can work well in a team environment.

**You will also bring**
- A positive and welcoming customer service skill set.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with Health Funds would be advantageous
- Experience with patient management systems (meditech) will be highly regarded.
- Strong computer skills with a good knowledge of the MS Office suite.
- Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded.

**The Hospital**

Southern Highlands Private Hospital provides 71 acute medical and surgical beds, as well as an extensive range of onsite rehabilitation and palliative care services for the community and beyond to the regional and rural areas. The Hospital has 4 Operating Theatres, a Procedure Room, a Day Surgery Unit and a Day Oncology Unit. The hospital is located in Bowral, adjacent to the public hospital.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19, **including a third dose if required under State health orders
- _Must provide a _**National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
