**The Role**
Reporting to the Manager Asset Systems and Planning and based in Windsor NSW, the purpose of this position is to develop renewal strategies to effectively manage existing asset portfolios and plan for the inclusion of future acquired assets. This position provides operational leadership and management of the team and partners closely with the Operations Branch to ensure the flow of asset information is complete and continuous and that maintenance and inspection activities align with the long-term management strategies and plans in place.
**About You**
You will possess strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels through liaison, negotiation, and consultation. Your dynamic leadership experience, coupled with a passion for achieving organisational objectives, will drive successful outcomes and foster collaborative partnerships.
**Essential Criteria**
- Qualifications in Landscape Design, Architecture, Asset Management or equivalent
- Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning (or willingness to obtain)
- WHS General Construction Work in NSW
- Knowledge and experience in asset management, including planning, budgeting, life cycle costing, management/maintenance programs and business case development
- Extensive experience in asset and corporate software systems applicable to local government
- Knowledge and experience in conducting asset management modelling, including statutory reporting
- Experience in management of system maintenance, including data integrity, accuracy and quality with relevant documentation
- Experience in asset management system design, including works order systems and integration to existing databases
- The right to live and work in Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration at final stages in the recruitment process
