**About Our Client**:
My client operates in the logistics, distribution and supply chain industry. They are a large, well known name with revenues in the billions of dollars.

They are in the final stages of going through a huge period of positive change, following the sale of the business to a Private Equity firm.

There has been very significant investment in to the organisation, leading to the need for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on initially a 6-month basis.

The role is a hands on payroll processing role. Duties will include:

- Management for end to end processing of a combination of weekly, fortnightly or monthly payrolls, with a level of complexity around awards & EBAs
- Plan and coordinate all the activities of the various payrolls, ensuring attention to detail and alignment to the correct EBAs
- Take ownership of the specific payroll and take personal responsibility for the overall end to end process
- Manage year end payroll requirements with appropriate wages reconciliations and the issuing of Payment Summaries to staff within legislative time frame.
- Lead EBA/award and salary review processes and provide expert advice on related conditions of employment
- Provide support to the Preceda system administration responsibilities

**The Successful Applicant**:
Ideally you will have worked in a larger payroll of 1000+ staff, but this is not an absolute must. Experience using Preceda and/or Workday systems is preferred, however not essential.

Although there will be opportunities to work from home, you must be able to travel to the office in the Logan area on a weekly basis.

**What's on Offer**:
On offer is initially a 6-month Fixed Term Contract, which includes standard company leave entitlements over this period.

The salary for this position is circa $85,000 + Superannuation.
