**About the Organisation**

At NSW Health Pathology, we provide the people of NSW with cutting edge pathology services and we also undertake pathology research in forensic and analytical science, whole genome sequencing, and public health pathogen genomics. We operate more than 60 laboratories and nearly 200 collection centres, and we conduct over 60 million tests per annum.

Our pathologists, scientists and technicians ensure samples are quickly and accurately assessed and shared with clinical teams to make the best possible treatment decisions for our patients. We also provide independent forensic and scientific analysis services for NSW’s health and criminal justice system.

During the last 24 months, NSW Health Pathology has played a major role in the fight against COVID-19, completing more than half of all COVID-19 tests across NSW.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the Contract Manager will be integral to ensuring NSW Health Pathology achieves best value from procurement and contract activity by successfully managing supplier contract and relationships over the contract life cycle including contract implementation, contract administration, transition in plans, benefit realisation, savings identifications, negotiations, extensions, pricings, kpi management and contract risk management.

**About the Person**
- An accomplished procurement professional that has worked in a contract management role, procurement specialist of category management role.
- High level interpersonal skills including effective communication, collaboration and engagement, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience in the health sector or government would be ideal but not essential for the role.

With exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, you should be comfortable exercising judgement in an environment responsive to competing priorities of customers and stakeholders.
