Day Services Supervisor

As part of our rapid growth trajectory, we are now seeking an experienced Day Services Supervisor to join our team as we progress with Commissioning and ramp up operations. Reporting to the Mining Manager, you will provide leadership and supervision to a team of mobile plant operators and covering multiple Dozer Mining Units (DMU’s) to ensure mining units and tails areas available at all times.
This role will be on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth or DIDO from within the Gascoyne region.
**Job Requirements**:
**Your role**
- Ensure mining units and tails areas available at all times
- Safe Dozer Mining Unit (DMU) relocation including task identification and task planning for DMU move and relocation plan
- Execution of the relocation plan
- Management oversight of the HDPE contract
- Relocation preparation (pipes, cable, surface prep, tailings line) and execution
- Safe tailings disposal including profiling
- In-pit dewatering
- Ensuring that tailings areas are set up and managed on a continuous basis
- Arrange and manage the interface between the day operations and the shift operations
- Plan the equipment required to execute the work that is supplied by the mining contractor
**About you**
- Relevant supervisor experience in mining environment; experience leading a team of contractors valued
- Certifications in health and safety desirable
- Demonstrate professional acumen within shift management decisions through your clear decision-making skills
- Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse information, provide critical thinking and a solution-focused attitude
- Heavy machine operator certifications advantageous
- Driver’s licence essential
