We are looking to fill APS 4 Human Resources Officer vacancies on a non-ongoing or s26 basis within the Federal Government.

We are seeking individuals with a background in customer service, administrative support, or human resources who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your strong communication skills, ability to engage with stakeholders, and initiative will be key to your success in this role. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-profile Federal Government client and contribute to the delivery of comprehensive HR services.

The primary focus of the APS4 Human Resources Officer is to provide support across a wide range of HR functions, including:

- Accurately and efficiently responding to general HR inquiries.
- Managing administrative functions such as procurement, report preparation, and record management.
- Coordinating and leading Induction and Orientation programs for new employees.
- Assisting with recruitment processes and supporting HR projects and events (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Wellbeing).
- Responding to Learning Management System (Learnhub) inquiries, providing training, and helping clients maximize their use of this platform.
- Maintaining HR records, files, and registers, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to inform HR services and processes.
- Supporting the Director HR with reports and updates on the Workforce Strategy Program Plan.
- Australian Citizenship
- A demonstrated ability to respond to inquiries and manage administrative functions within an HR team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A high degree of attention to detail and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- A willingness to learn and grow in a supportive HR team environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline (desirable but not essential).
