**About the Ranger Coordinator role**:
**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Build and maintain a positive, inclusive and outcomes focused culture within the Ranger Services team and the team’s relationships with the organisation as a whole.
- Ensure relevant legislations are enforced in a fair, consistent and transparent manner for the benefit of the residents of the City and visitors to the City.
- Undertake regular reviews of the City’s Local Laws and Policies within the Ranger Services area to ensure currency and efficiency.
- Administer the provisions of the Bush Fires Act 1954, in relation to bushfire protection and fire hazard reduction and ensure landowners are aware of their lawful responsibilities.

**What you will need to succeed**:
You will align with our values and be a critical thinker, with the ability to motivate and influence others. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:

- Relevant qualification such as Regulatory Officers Compliance Skills 1 and 2, and/or Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Services) or equivalent.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
