**About the role**:
We are recruiting for a Quality System Specialist to join our team You will play a mission-critical role ensuring our programs meet and exceed the highest quality, safety, and regulatory standards. You'll collaborate across engineering, suppliers, and executive levels to deliver assurance and compliance world leading Defence systems.

**Your day-to-day might include**:
Embedding quality from day one: reviewing proposals, contracts, regulatory & customer requirement
- s Crafting and maintaining policies, procedures, and metrics to uphold ISO9001, and regulatory expectation
- s Driving data analysis, root cause investigations, and proactive problem-solvin
- g Assisting hardware, software, and systems audits against standards and regulatory requirement
- s Collaborating across teams to uplift quality, safety, and continuous improvement cultur

**What you'll bring**:
**Essential**:
Analytical problem-solver with data-driven decision-making capabilit
- y Ability to influence, engage, and communicate with senior stakeholder
- s Wiliness to obtain upon commencement lead auditor qualifications or
- a Resilient, hands-on mindset with the ability to prioritise in high-pressure environment
- s Australian Citizenship (eligible for Defence security clearance
- )

**Desirable**:
Completed ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training by a recognised training organisatio
- n Strong knowledge of ISO9001, and practical applicatio
- n Conduct and familiarity in root cause analysis technique and methods (i.e. ICAM) and trend analysis of contributing factor
