**About the Role**:
The Floor Finisher position is central to our operations, ensuring each installation is completed to the highest standard. As a vital member of our team, you will work directly with clients and other team members to deliver impeccable results that highlight Carpet Court's dedication to quality and professionalism.
**The job location could be in Horsham, Bendigo, Burleigh Heads and Tweed Heads.**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Install a variety of floor coverings, including carpets, vinyl, laminate, and hardwood, with precision and care.
- Prepare subfloors by sanding, filling, and leveling surfaces to ensure maximum durability and aesthetics.
- Accurately measure and cut flooring materials for a flawless fit in complex layouts.
- Provide expert advice to customers on the maintenance and care of their new flooring.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, consistently adhering to company safety and quality protocols.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure client requirements are fully understood and met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues promptly and effectively.
- Keep abreast of new flooring products and technologies to enhance service delivery.
- Contribute to team meetings with feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Ensure all projects are completed within allocated timeframes and budgets.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Floor Finisher, with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of various flooring materials and installation techniques.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- Flooring installation: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (required)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
