**About the Opportunity**

The key purpose of the Team Leader is to provide a high level of administration support to Acacia Prison Health Centre whilst managing a team of medical receptionists.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Working collaboratively with the Healthcare team and Healthcare Services Manager in assisting them with any administrative support.
- Delegating and leading a small team of other medical receptionists (Managing their leave, consolidating work to each receptionist and reporting)
- Maintaining confidentiality of all sensitive material and data associated with this role.
- Providing administrative training and support for new staff members within the Healthcare centre
- Undertake duties of the medical receptionists as well as the SMR and team leader responsibilities.
- Demonstrating high ethical professional standards and compliance with the Acacia Prison code of conduct and policies.
- Developing and managing efficient administrative systems/processes to support effective time management and liaison on behalf of team members.

**About you - your ideal skills & experience**
- Ability to perform a range of administrative and clerical functions.
- High level of skill with Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
- Experience working with systems such as Echoe & Toms is desirable.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate, problem solve, negotiate, and resolve conflict with those that may display challenging behaviours or come from ethnically and culturally diverse backgrounds.
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
