**ROLE SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for the timely and safe preparation of dispatch and outgoing goods for customers in a timely manner. Hours are 38 hours per week with opportunity to do overtime on weekends. 7am-3pm negotiable.

**DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintain warehouse in a neat & orderly manner
- Provide customer service to customers who pick up orders
- Keep computerised records of stock numbers
- Receipt, inspection storage & of incoming goods
- Prepare and dispatch outgoing goods
- Prepare labelling & consignment requirements
- Investigate stock discrepancies as required.
- Complete daily reporting requirements
- Operate the forklift
- Actively involved in the annual stock take requirements
- Be committed to the WHS objectives of the business

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**

Proven stores experience, basic computer literacy skills, good communication and interpersonal skills that focus on the experience for the customer.

A forklift license would be considered advantageous but **not essential.** Physically fit; exposure to manual tasks such as carrying, standing, walking, kneeling and reaching is frequent.

- Knowledge of warehousing principles

- Strong interpersonal skills

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Current Forklift license _**(preferable but not essential)**_
- Current Drivers License
