Our purpose is to raise the bar on service excellence.

**About the role**:
As Sanitation Manager, you will oversee and drive all cleaning activities within a leading food manufacturing environment. This is a largely autonomous, hands-on role where you will take pride in maintaining the highest levels of hygiene and safety, ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, and WH&S standards.

You’ll lead, mentor, and coach your team to consistently deliver outstanding cleaning services that meet strict food safety requirements. Your focus will be on quality, productivity, and compliance, managing everything from day-to-day cleaning operations to administrative duties such as rosters, incident reporting, and chemical safety.

- Take a hands-on role in cleaning processes and lead the team in adhering to HACCP and WH&S guidelines.
- Monitor productivity and manage quality control processes, addressing client feedback and complaints promptly.
- Manage the safe storage, handling, and usage of chemicals in line with SDS and safety policies.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMs).
- Conduct training, coaching, and mentoring to build a high-performing sanitation team.
- Lead internal audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties including rosters, timesheets, leave management, toolbox talks, QA reporting, stock ordering, and incident documentation.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of WH&S practices specific to manufacturing environments.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to uphold exceptional food safety standards.

**About You**:
You are a hands-on, results-driven sanitation professional with:

- Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards in food manufacturing.
- Ideally hold an Internal Auditor qualification or have audit experience.
- Proven experience training, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience preparing Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Method Statements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate your team.
- Solid understanding of WH&S in a manufacturing environment and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and deliver consistently to high standards.

**Why join us**:

- Competitive salary + benefits
- Fantastic perks including shopping vouchers and discounts at major retailers like Woolworths and Amazon.
- Autonomy to manage your workflow within nationally accredited quality standards.
- Be part of a supportive, dynamic, and fun team environment.
- Work with cutting-edge, paper-free time and attendance technology.
- Gain experience with the highest standard of food hygiene processes, HACCP certification, and industry-leading practices.
- Opportunities for cross-training across diverse sectors including hospitality, aged care, education, retail, government, and more.
- Clear career progression pathways with structured training programs designed to help you advance.
