Our therapists aim to look beyond barriers and beyond behaviours, to the needs and to the human.

We are a boutique Specialist Behaviour Support provider who is looking for another person to join the team. This is a highly **flexible** and **individualised** position, on a contractual basis. Suiting someone looking for a part-time or flexible amount of hours, to work around their existing life.

We only provide therapy services, and thus specialise in the science and art of this. We are dedicated to providing Behaviour Support that is insightful and empowering, and aim to provide an approach that is developmentally-sensitive and trauma-informed.

**Primary Objectives/Responsibilities **
- Work directly with participants and their support network to provide thoughtful clinical support.
- Undertake functional behaviour assessments and develop appropriate behaviour support plans.
- Identify and implement strategies for the people we support, that are based on positive behaviour support and other evidence-based principles. Work in collaboration with the support team to develop, implement and review these strategies.
- Engage in proactive support and treatment planning. This includes setting realistic and valuable goals for the people we support.
- Helpfully and collaboratively engage with your clients and their support network (this may include; families, key decision makers, medical professionals, and other clinical providers).
- Commit to regular clinical supervision, continuing your professional development and reflective practice.
- Ensure services to people we support are delivered according to the National Standards for Disability Services, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Standards, National Disability Insurance Scheme (Restrictive Practices and Behaviour Support) Rules 2018, and comply with all authorisation requirements for the use of Restrictive Practices Provide and participate in clinical supervision.

**General and Administrative**
- Meet individual, organisational and peak body (i.e. NDIS, AHPRA) requirements. For example, this includes the maintenance of adequate clinical notes and records.
- Commit to upholding the NDIS practice standards under the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.
- Work within the boundaries of confidentiality, privacy, respect and professional standards.
- Routinely participate in general team meetings.

**About you (selection criteria)**
- Hold a university degree or qualification that is clinically relevant.
- Current drivers licence and use of own vehicle.
- Experience working with people with disabilities, and knowledge of the NDIS.
- Training or experience with Positive Behaviour Support (desirable).
- Ability to problem solve, work autonomously and proactive attitude to learning.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
- A disarming and open-minded approach with people.
- Effective time management and organisational skills, along with the capacity to manage your own caseload.
- Strong ethical compass and reflective approach.
- Desire and interest in working with diverse individuals.
- A National Police Clearance, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
