The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Dietitian Assistant to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Assist and support the dietitians in providing quality patient care in line with evidence based, best practice
- Provide education on pre-determined nutrition areas, to patients, staff or other key stakeholders
- Implement and monitor the nutritional care of patients requiring nutrition support
- Liaise with food services staff and dietitians regarding the provision of special diets for patients

About you

**To be successful in this position you will require**:

- Certificate III Nutrition or Certificate IV Allied Health Assistance or education in area of nutrition would be well regarded
- Blue card (GCH will cover cost)
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time
- Base salary ranging from $66 478 - $69 885 per annum
