**Manufacturing operator**

Our clients are are a brand owner, manufacturer and supplier of complementary medicines and foods.

Brand New plant in Clayton, a manufacturing operator with a Forklift license to join this amazing team.

Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environment preferred.

**Your Role will be as follows but not limited to ;**

To co-ordinate, control and supply materials as required by Production Schedule
- Maintain raw material movements within storage area’s
- Follow monthly stock counts as required
- Supply raw material for manufacturing as per schedule
- Determine the material resources required for production
- Coordinate material resources to meet production targets
- Ensure standard operating procedures are strictly adhered to and maintained
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures
- Follow GMP requirements and adhere to TGA standards always
- Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between department including Quality, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Manufacturing and Packaging
- Participate in other duties as required from time to time
- Support management of all raw materials stock levels
- Min 5 years’ experience in blending and compounding in the Pharma or Food industry
- Experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
- Knowledge of raw material handling, quality systems and standards
- Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance
- Experience of process improvement techniques and principles
- Excellent understanding of TGA Principles and Philosophy.
- Knowledge of machines and tools
- Complete understanding of GMP requirements
- Solid computer skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and prioritisation skills

**You must have the following**:

- Forklift License - Essential
- Take reasonable care for themselves and others at work.
- Cooperate with OHSMS, SWMS, SOPs, Risk Assessments and procedures and relevant legislation/guidance.
- Participation in consultative arrangements and Return to Work Programs as agreed upon by the treating medical practitioner, rehabilitation coordinator and Life Space Group.
- Report all incidents, hazards, and injuries as soon as possible to the direct line manager or supervisor.
- Wear personnel protective equipment when required to control exposure to hazards in the workplace.

**Salary**: $29.45 - $33.00 per hour

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clayton, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
