Cafe All Rounder

Front of house staff required for new cafe in Mortdale. Morning shift from 7am till 2pm. Experience preferred but training for new starters will be provided. Perfect for uni students who have free weekdays or afternoon classes. Weekend availability a bonus on flexible roster.

Role Overview:
As a Cafe Allrounder, you will be an essential part of our dynamic team, responsible for a variety of tasks that keep our cafe running smoothly. From crafting the perfect cup of coffee to serving customers with a smile, and maintaining a tidy and inviting space, your contribution will be vital to our success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greeting and serving customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Preparing and serving a diverse menu, including coffee, pastries and cold drinks.
- Assisting with food and beverage preparation, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Keeping the cafe clean and well-organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Operating the cash register and handling transactions efficiently.
- Maintaining knowledge of the menu, coffee offerings, and daily specials to guide and inform customers.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a cafe or hospitality setting is a plus but not mandatory.
- A passion for coffee, food, and customer service excellence.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and a strong team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy periods with a smile.
- Must be willing to work weekends on a rotating roster
- Early morning starts
