Venue Manager

As venue manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and improve profitability for our venue.
Your role will involve focusing on both top-line revenue growth and bottom-line profitability through targeted marketing campaigns, effective cost management, staff efficiency and sales expansion initiatives.

- **RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Revenue Growth (Top Line)**:
Optimize Pricing Strategies: _Develop dynamic pricing strategies considering seasonality, events, and competitor offerings to maximize revenue._

Package Creation: _Create appealing packages tailored to specific target markets, such as romantic getaway packages, family fun packages, or special senior menus._

Upselling and Add-on Services: _Train staff on upselling techniques to encourage guests to add services or amenities to their stay._

Host Events and Promotions: _Organise events and promotions aimed at attracting target markets, such as themed dinners, family movie nights, or dog-friendly social gatherings._

**Profitability (Bottom Line)**:
Cost Management: _Negotiate with vendors for better deals on supplies and services._

Resource Optimization: _Ensure efficient use of venue space, equipment, and staff to minimize operational costs._

Labour Cost Management: _Schedule staff effectively to meet customer needs while minimizing labour expenses._

Inventory Control: _Maintain proper inventory control of supplies and amenities to avoid waste and overspending._

Develop New Revenue Streams: _Identify and develop new revenue streams beyond traditional room bookings, such as conferences, workshops, weddings, or private events._

Manage Event Logistics: _Plan, manage, and execute events to ensure smooth operation and client satisfaction._

Develop Strong Partnerships: _Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to promote cross-promotional opportunities and attract new customers._

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
