**Assistant Venue Manager - Collingwood Beer Hall**

Stomping Ground Brewing Co is looking for a passionate craft beer legend to assist leading our award-winning, flagship Collingwood Beer Hall into the future and beyond.

**A bit about us...**
Stomping Ground Brewing Co is the neighbourhood brewery bringing people together over a great beer. We believe that beer should be for all walks and brew an award winning range to suit all tastes, from laid-back drinkers to the adventurous spirits. We've recently gained the title of Australia’s Champion Large Independent Brewery at the Indies (Independent Beer Awards Australia), and our flagship venue in Collingwood has held the title of Beer & Brewer’s Best Brewpub in Australia since 2017.

We are extremely passionate about beer and hospitality, and are exceedingly proud of what we've achieved so far. There’s no holding back our ambitions to grow and nurture the team along the way

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Assisting the Venue Manager in the day to day operations of the venue
- A 'hands on' approach to help lead and develop our existing team
- Continue to develop excellent customer service and community engagement at the venue including a range of internal events
- Managing financial targets including stock control, rostering and reporting to ensure all KPI's are achieved.
- Bring our great beer to the people

**YOU WILL HAVE**:

- 2+ Years experience in a similar role
- Experience managing a large team on shift
- Strong passion for the hospitality industry, with food and beverage knowledge to match
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to develop and motivate various levels of staff
- Experience with stock control, rostering and managing COGS and wage targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to co-operate and work with the various departments within the Stomping Ground family to achieve overall ongoing success of the venue.
- Commitment to progression, not only in yourself but also within your team.
