About the Role

Based in NSW, the Technical Sales Representative role reports to the Sales Manager - Coal (NSW) and is primarily responsible for technical sales and service for all allocated customers and potential customers in the Coal sector for the East Region.

Core duties include, but are not limited to:
Sales and Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the NSW underground coal mining sector. Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their operations.

Service Delivery: Oversee the installation and maintenance of ground support systems and ensure that service delivery meets the highest quality and safety standards.

Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the NSW coal mining industry. Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.

Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for clients on the proper use and maintenance of ground support products. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

About You

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a technical sales or service role within the mining industry, preferably with experience in underground coal mines.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Travel: Willingness to travel to various mine sites across NSW as required.
