**About Us**

We’re launching an exciting new sports-centric bar that blends the energy of live sports, a great food & drink offering, and a welcoming atmosphere from day to night. Whether it’s AFL, UFC, or Soccer, we’re the go-to destination for fans looking for premium experiences in a casual setting.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced **Venue Manager** who lives and breathes sport, hospitality, and great service. If you’re a people-first leader with operational experience in dynamic venues, we want to hear from you.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Venue Leadership**: Oversee all day-to-day operations of the venue including service, staffing, and supplier management.
- **Sports Programming**: Curate and manage live sports schedules and promotions around major games/events.
- **Team Management**: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing front-of-house and bar team.
- **Customer Experience**: Ensure exceptional service delivery and atmosphere at all times, especially during high-volume events.
- **Inventory & Ordering**: Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships (beverage, food, AV).
- **Compliance**: Maintain licensing requirements, RSA compliance, and health and safety standards.
- **Events & Promotions**: Collaborate with marketing on live events, viewing parties, and in-house activations.
- **Financial Management**: Monitor budgets, revenue targets, and P&L performance with a focus on profitability.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Proven experience** (2-5+ years) as a Venue Manager or Assistant Manager in a busy hospitality venue.
- Strong knowledge and **passion for sports** - AFL, soccer, rugby, cricket, UFC, and more.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Confidence in handling high-volume trade and live event environments.
- Sound knowledge of bar operations, food service, and POS systems.
- Strong understanding of stock management and cost control.
- RSA & Approved Manager Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
