**THE ROLE**

**Lead Field Operations in Essential Utilities - Join Downer as a Project Supervisor (Skilltech)**

As a **Project Supervisor - Special Projects**with **Downer’s Skilltech team**, you will oversee both field and office teams to ensure the success of contracts, excellence in service, and safety on-site. **Based in our Rydalmere office,**this is your opportunity to leverage your leadership skills, organisational abilities, and customer-focused mindset in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
- You’ll coordinate people, processes, and performance to ensure timely and effective delivery. Key responsibilities include: _
- Leading, coaching, and monitoring a team of 10-30 staff across metering service projects
- Ensuring safe and efficient project delivery aligned to budget and contract KPIs
- Managing logistics, equipment, and consumables to keep field operations running smoothly
- Supporting staff wellbeing and performance, including guidance, feedback, and workplace safety
- Building strong stakeholder relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

**ABOUT YOU**
- You’re a practical and people-focused leader with a proven ability to manage field operations. Your strengths include: _
- A Business Diploma or equivalent industry experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills
- Familiarity with metering services, including smart water meter technologies (preferred)
- High competency in Microsoft Office and client-facing systems
- Confidence in managing logistics, compliance, performance, and continuous improvement initiatives
