An excellent opportunity for a Paralegal looking to further develop their career within an inhouse legal team on a permanent part time basis. There is flexibility to work either 2 full days or 3 shorter days, if you are looking for school friendly hours.

**_What does the role entail?_**
- Assist the Legal Counsel with preparing BAU contracts, such as confidentiality agreements, settlement deeds, supply agreements, leases, etc.
- Assist with responding to customer claims, including drafting, editing correspondence liaising with internal stakeholders.
- Assist with preparing documents for submission to administrative tribunals, such as VCAT, NCAT and QCAT.
- Conduct legal research.
- Maintain and organise case files, ensuring all records are up to date and filed.
- Assist with trade promotion documents, including drafting, reviewing, editing terms and conditions.
- Assist with Intellectual property portfolio, including liaising with internal stakeholders regarding new registrations, conducting searches on IP registry.
- Assist with the annual modern slavery risk assessment, including liaising with suppliers, responding to queries, drafting and reviewing documentation.
- Legal administrative duties.

**_ What are we looking for?_**
- A bachelor's degree in law or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working as a Paralegal, preferably in an inhouse role or commercial environment.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of legal software and case management tools is a bonus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
