SASH was establish in 2007 and is located 20 minutes north of Sydney’s CBD, in New South Wales, Australia. Our team is privileged to provide gold standard care to over 40,000 patients each year across our ever-growing network. Having recently opened our fourth hospital, SASH is continuing to invest in our team with the latest equipment and technology. Our recent hospital refurbishment at North Ryde means we provide the most comprehensive service offering across Australia. SASH now has access to an in-house laboratory facility, 128 slice CT, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiology, fluoroscopy, 1.5T MRI, ultrasound and a linear accelerator with stereotactic capability. SASH now also has 6 new theatres, a huge pre and post operative area, as well as a state-of-the-art ICU with 5 dedicated Criticalists for assistance with our most critical patients.
Along with our team of 4 Anaesthetists, you will work collaboratively with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, medical and radiation oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, anaesthesia, 24 hour emergency with critical care and rehabilitation just to name a few.

**The Anaesthetist Position**:
We are now looking for our fifth Anaesthesia specialist to join our North Ryde based team. Our team also consists of 1 Registrar and 1 Intern with regular support from rotating interns. The position will also be well supported by our experienced nurses with collaboration from on-site critical care. You will work in a growing multidisciplinary setting, drawing on the knowledge and experience provided through our extensive network of SASH specialists, supporting you to achieve the best results for your patients.
To be considered for this position, we are looking for:
- Be a board certified Anaesthetists with the American, European or Australian colleges (DACVAA, DECVAA, FANZCVS). Holding one of these qualifications means that regardless of where your undergraduate degree is from, you are eligible to work as a vet in Australia
