**About Us**
The ANU College of Asia & the Pacific (CAP) leads intellectual engagement with the Asia-Pacific region through research, teaching and contributions to public debate, and seeks to set the international standard for scholarship concerning the region. Crawford School of Public Policy is a School within CAP and is Australia’s premier public policy school, with recognised world-class expertise and experience in economics, political science, environmental management and development, and on key Asia-Pacific countries, especially China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as Australia.
The Australia-Japan Research Centre (AJRC) is a research unit within Crawford School and is the centre of research, teaching and outreach on the Japanese economy in Australia. AJRC also conducts research to better understand the Australia-Japan relationship and its place in the Asia Pacific economy.
**The Opportunity**
The Research Fellow will undertake independent and collaborative research with the Australia-Japan Research Centre’s Director, Associate Professor Shiro Armstrong as well as other university groups and initiatives that intersect with AJRC’s research interests.
