Iress is one of Australia's largest technology companies and employs more than 2,000 people across Australia, The United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, France, New Zealand and Asia. **Build your career at Iress** Come join our Operational Risk team as a Manager within our Superannuation business unit As the Operational Risk Manager you will be establishing a fit for purpose compliance and risk management frameworks that drive quality outcomes and align with client regulatory and compliance obligations. You will be managing and enhancing the Compliance Frameworks in line with legislative requirements and industry best practices. You will be partnering with the superannuation business to develop a risk-first culture across day-to-day operations **Some of the awesome things you'll be involved with**: - Support the design, implementation of effective operational controls and day-to-day risk practices, to enable better business outcomes and service delivery. - Ongoing management of risks and action plans within GRC, integrating these activities into BAU risk management practices across the superannuation business. - The delivery and maintenance of quality and compliance documentation including policies, procedures and organisation quality assessments. - Support Iress and client led audits to ensure consistency of approach, standard evidence frameworks, repeatable process and improved output. - Assist in the management of operational risk "incidents and Issues" and undertake activities to reduce risk exposures and manage impacts, including coordinating reviews, investigation and remediation. - Assist with the Implementation and effectiveness evaluation of controls in support of the Controls Testing Program. - Support the Legislation team to oversee compliance with legislative and regulatory changes. - Support the Privacy Officer through privacy impact assessments, data request responses and privacy breach assessments. - Ensure the Group's compliance with Group-wide frameworks and policies. - Manage the implementation and adoption of Iress' GRC platform in conjunction with Group Risk. - Preparation of risk and compliance based reporting for senior management and Group Risk. **What you will bring**: - A proven track record in a senior Line 1 risk / controls role, ideally within superannuation business. - Formal qualifications in risk management, superannuation or related industry. - Strong incident and case management skills and experience in delivering outcomes highly regarded. - Experience in motivating and develop teams to be outcome orientated. - Strong understanding of risk, compliance, legislative, and regulatory requirements relevant to the superannuation services industry. - Previous success in delivering continuous improvement in risk and compliance initiatives. - Role-modeling best practice risk management culture and capability. - Team player, with strong collaboration, influencing and project management skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Why work with us?** - 8 additional paid days per year to extend your weekends. - Hybrid working. - Generous cash bonus for every successful referral. - Starting school leave - 8.5 days of leave to assist your children with the transition to school. - Up to 26 weeks' paid parental leave for primary carers (up to 4 weeks for secondary carers), and the ability to work part-time when returning to work. - 3 days' paid leave per year to participate in charity initiatives. - Discounted health insurance premiums. - Access to learning and development programs through Udemy.
