**BE A PART OF THE TEAM - The Opportunity**:
We are looking for friendly, professional and vibrant venue and door hosts to be a part of the guest experience team and help drive the success of the Shell House venue.

As the first point of contact for guests you will need to have the ability to professionally engage with people. We pride ourselves on being genuine and welcoming, and you will be carrying these values into every interaction you have.

A true service mentality will be needed, so some level of hospitality experience will be held in high regard.

If you have the ability to keep calm under pressure, love dealing with people and have a real flair for making people feel welcomed then we would love to hear from you.

We will provide on the job training and have the flexibility to work around your study or other life-commitments.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Professional appearance, and positive, warm attitude.
- Manage reservations.
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists.
- Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options.
- Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas.
- Professionally deal with VIPs and celebrities.
- Provide menus and announce Waiter/Waitress’s name.
- Able to resolve issues with guests.
- Ensure a pleasant farewell on guest departure.
- Maintain a clean reception area.
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Assist wait staff as needed.
- Fantastic conversational skills, with an outgoing personality and confidence.
- Able to take direction, multi-task, and demonstrate organizational skills, under pressure.
- ResDiary management and daily recap report writing.
- Ability to continue to build Shell House guest databases, by getting to know guest preferences.
- Must be dependable, reliable, and responsible.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Desire to grow and learn within the restaurant and hospitality industry.

**Qualifications**:
High School graduate or equivalent is preferred.

Seven Rooms experience a distinct advantage..

A minimum of 1 year restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train.

Be flexible with schedule, work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Reliable transportation required.
