Disability Support Worker- Crestmead

Our client requires a young male Mentor/Support Worker 2 afternoons a week on a Wednesday and one Friday fortnightly with the potential to have more hours in the future. If you are able to assist in supporting our client in day to day living skills for example cooking a meal and are interested in motorcross, football and art then we would love to hear from you.

Our base hourly rate for weekday daytime is $31.96/hr. Our weekday evening rate is $34.51/hr. Please note pay rates are set and not negotiable.

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

**Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals

**To be Successful you must**
- Resonate with the role description above
- Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Hold a police check or be willing to obtain
- Must have a driver’s licence and a car with full comprehensive insurance

**Salary**: $30.00 - $39.99 per hour
