**Job Title,** Supply Support Officer

**Salary**, $90,000 - $100,000 plus super

**Location,** Canberra, ACT

**Clearance Required,** NV1 or NV2

**The core responsibilities of this role include**:

- Carrying out administrative functions within the MILIS system.
- Managing SCA Holder functions, including conducting asset stocktaking activities in alignment with the Commonwealth SCA Managers' stocktaking plan.
- Ensuring that equipment on charge is used efficiently and for its intended purpose, and that it is suitably and safely stored, in serviceable condition, and free from unauthorized modifications.
- Ensuring that SCA-held equipment on temporary issue is returned by the due date and conducting inspections to report defects and deficiencies for necessary rectification.
- Handling the receipt and issuance of items to and from SCAs.
- Generating movement requisition orders for freight.
- Collaborating with Commonwealth representatives to facilitate MILIS functions.

**In addition to these supply support responsibilities, the role also entails Codifying and Cataloguing functions, which include**:

- Coordinating the codification and cataloguing of new or modified Items of Supply (IOS) identified in project codification data packs.
- Submitting requests for new NATO Stock Numbers (NSN) to the National Codification Bureau (NCB) using the Material Codification Catalogue (MC CAT) program.
- Carrying out cataloguing functions using the defence ERP program.
- Maintaining MILIS Global Catalogue management data for CEA-associated NSNs.
- Ensuring that manufacturer/supplier NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) code details are accurate and up to date.
- Providing information to Commonwealth representatives to assist in establishing MILIS inventory records, including external purchase orders (EPO).

***Key qualifications and skills required for this position are**:

- Previous experience in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) or the defence Industry.
- Knowledge of DEF-AUST 1000C, particularly regarding defence packaging requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
