About the role
This position provides an efficient and effective client focused Revenue and Administrative service to staff and patients who utilise services both at The Patient Accounts, Revenue Office and The Trust Office located at Ipswich Hospital, The Hayden Centre, and The Park - Centre for Mental Health
About you
- Knowledge of or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of the legislation and procedures relevant to financial and patient management in the provision of financial practices, including financial procedures, cash handling, revenue and patient accounts management, preferably in a health service environment (e.g. Fees & Charges for accommodation and Outpatient Services).
- High level organisational skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload, completing priorities and ability to meet deadlines and work under limited supervision as an individual or a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- High level interpersonal written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate and negotiate successfully with all levels of the private and public sectors on a range of confidential and sensitive issues

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
