We’re looking for a Grade 3 Pharmacy Technician to join our high performing clinical and operational teams.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work as part of our pharmacy team to provide pharmacy services across our network. You will have the opportunity to rotate between different practice areas in the department including dispensing, compounding, and medication distribution and supply services.

**About The Role**

Working closely with your team leader, you will be key to providing best practice medication management and pharmacy services safely and professionally to patients, carers, clients and health care professionals.

You will support other pharmacy technicians, by assisting with training and mentoring of staff who are new to the organisation or new to a particular area of practice.

You may be required to take on higher duties when a Pharmacy Technician Team Leader (Grade 4) is away, giving you the opportunity to develop your management skills.

Full time positions are an 8-hour shift per day, Monday to Friday. Our full-time employees accrue a day off every four weeks. The successful person will be required to work some late shifts and weekends/public holidays.

**About You**

You are a hospital pharmacy technician experienced in assisting in supervision, training and mentoring of other pharmacy technicians, looking for a new career path.

You will bring the following experience and knowledge to the role (italics indicates desirable):

- Significant experience as a qualified hospital pharmacy technician, including supervision, training and mentoring of other pharmacy technicians
- Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support, or equivalent
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and accountability across all general technician tasks (dispensing, medication distribution and supply including Schedule 8/4D supply)
- Australian working rights
- _ Ability to work in specialised areas such as PBS management, pharmaceutical purchasing and compounding_
