**The Role**

We are looking to employ a creative and proactive professional to help our Division enhance our IT Recovery and Resilience capabilities. You will be encouraged to think innovatively whilst developing and maintaining compliant procedures, and work collaboratively across the Infrastructure, Platforms and Projects Branch.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
Responsibilities of the APS Level 4 may include:

- Support the IT Disaster Recovery Manger in disaster recovery governance and strategy activities.
- Assist in development of disaster recovery plan templates and the annual IT DR Testing Program.
- Liaise with Technology and Services sections, Technical Owners, and Application Business Owners of identified business critical IT services.
- Review/update DR Plans annually to ensure new aspects of the business are covered.
- Contribute to development of controls to strengthen the DR processes.
- Exploring and implementing disaster recovery processes for re-establishing servers, databases, and platforms in the event of a disruption, both minor and catastrophic.
- Liaison and collaboration with the Business Continuity (BC) team.

**Qualifications and Education**
- Certification in IT Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in either a disaster recovery/business continuity, infrastructure operations, service desk or information systems administration roles.
