If you have experience in warehouse operations and management, and you enjoy working in a young, fresh-minded environment, this could be the job for you **With Trit, you will have**: - Fantastic career building opportunities, - A great team of friendly, hard working and like-minded individuals, - A highly competitive salary for your ongoing efforts and loyalty. **Working in a busy environment, your key duties and responsibilities will include**: - Ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organising, directing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals. - Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including safety, quality, productivity, inventory control, and logistics. - Provide daily directing for warehousing processes and operations, including dispatching, receiving of goods, and delegating tasks as required to ensure targets are met. - Leadership will be your strength - you will lead from the front and be energised by creating a team culture that is engaged and driven to succeed, providing clear direction and communication, and always leading by example. - Safeguard warehouse operations and standards by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols that comply with legal regulations, OHS and regulatory compliance. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and suppliers. - Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short-term and long-term performance goals, holding regular "toolbox" meetings to address and proactively correct recent errors and mistakes. - Work closely with the Directors, Operations Managers and Supervisors to identify opportunities for improvements, ensure business needs are met, and align processes, procedures and initiatives. **Must-have experience, qualifications and attributes**: - A minimum of 1 years experience working in warehousing and logistics, - A minimum of 1 years experience in a management role, - Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and OHS, - Exceptional attention to detail, - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships; build credibility and trust with internal stakeholders and customers, - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, both in a team and independently, - Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask and perform well under pressure, - Strong work ethic, supportive of others and flexible in approach, - High levels of business acumen and capability to translate strategy into actionable goals and KPI’s, - Strong communication skills, both written & verbal, - Strong computer skills, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills and intermediate to advanced Google Workspace skills, - Best practice continuous improvement and customer excellence mindset, - Full-time availability (Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm) **Highly desirable experience, qualifications and attributes**: - Relevant Undergraduate Diploma or Degree - Relevant Graduate Diploma or Degree - Working knowledge and experience in the furniture industry - Forklift license **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: $63,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Employee discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: - Christmas bonus Ability to commute/relocate: - Redland Bay, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - Warehouse and logistic management: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Forklift Licence (preferred) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
