**The opportunity**:
We are on the lookout for an IT Helpdesk/Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team Reporting directly to the Infrastructure Manager, this role will provide technical support to our end-users, both remotely and face to face.

Based out of our Alexandria Support Office, this role would be ideal for someone who is customer centric in their approach and who isn’t afraid of a fast pace

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
- Coordinate and escalate incidents within established timelines
- Provide support for incidents raised via phone or service desk
- Liaise and engage with our clients, provide outstanding customer service
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
- Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
- Setting up accounts for new users
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary

**The skills and experience you offer us**:

- Previous demonstrable IT Helpdesk & Support experience (ideally 1 year in a similar position)
- Diploma or University Degree in the field of Computer Science (or relevant industry certifications) is desirable
- Demonstrated experience with Windows systems, desktops and servers
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, ensuring deadlines are met
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly customer-focused with a proactive work ethic
- A team player who displays enthusiasm for the team and supports team objectives and willingly participates
- Driver’s licence and own vehicle is require
