Café Manager

**Description**:
Peninsula Leisure has an exciting opportunity for a Cafe Manager with a positive can-do attitude to join our Cafe team on a fixed term, 12-month contract, as one of our team members commences parental leave. This opportunity is for full-time work, to be completed during Monday - Friday, with flexibility regarding working hours on offer.

**To thrive in this role, you will need**:
Strong leadership experience of a diverse team within the hospitality industry
Team management and development
Understanding of large leisure centres
Experience delivering exceptional customer service in a busy fast-paced environment
Conflict resolution skills
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Excellent communication skills
Initiative and problem solving
Financial management
Experience delivering on Health & Safety standards

**Key Responsibilities of this role include**:
Oversee the recruitment, management, development and performance of the café team
Plan, communicate and deliver meaningful team meeting and training workshops
Continued improvements in turnover and profitability
Manage the day to day operations of the Cafe department
Effective management of finances and budget
Provide a safe environment for all team members, ensuring training records are maintained, SOPs ad RAs are reviewed, and safety requirements are understood and met.
Ensure all café duties are performed in accordance with Food Safety Standards
Exceptional levels of customer service
Continues improvement and development of Café Menu in line with seasonal changes
Establish and maintain relationships with relevant suppliers
